If you were concerned about the standing of running back Chris Johnson but were going to make a wager at the sports books on the Titans, you can relax. 
The NFL’s top rusher will be in camp as the Titans and Johnson arrived at a deal that will take care of his deal for this year. Johnson led the NFL a year ago in rushing and he’s a competitor that makes a huge difference versus the sportsbook NFL probabilities.

For the time being this compromise was sufficient to get him to camp, though Johnson is still wanting to get a new deal worked out with the Titans. The alteration in Johnson’s current deal is in fact quite simple as the squad is paying him $1.5 million in terms of incentive bonuses in 2010 instead of in 2012. Johnson is not concerned about 2012 though since he can expect to have a new package in place long before then.
Johnson was selected to the Pro Bowl as a starter in both of the years that he has competed with the league and has become one of the NFL’s leading players. In his second year with the NFL, he shattered Marshall Faulk’s record of total yards from scrimmage and became the sixth running back in NFL history to rush over 2,000 yards. He was a 24th in total draft pick in the 2008 NFL Draft after he recorded the second fastest ever record for a running back at the NFL Scouting Combine. He was named the NFL’s 2009 Offensive Player of the Year.
Tennessee was an exceptional squad in the football action just two years ago versus sports books probabilities but a year ago they started 0-6.
