The Red Bulls made news again at the sportsbook since they brought in Mexico’s national team captain Rafael Marquez. 
New York got attention earlier this season when they signed France star Thierry Henry. New York may perhaps be a winning team versus sports book soccer probabilities and will be a fun team to watch.

Since New York is not part of the playoff race, the addition of Marquez is more focused on next season and getting buffs than it is for this year. Marquez will most likely play midfield for the Red Bulls. He is not a substantial scoring threat but even at his age he is most likely much better than what New York had in the midfield. New York hasn’t played well for the most part this season but at least with the additions of Henry and Marquez they will be worth watching. They might even acquire a handful more wins in the process.
There’s no question that with the addition of participants like Henry and Marquez, the MLS is receiving some attention at the sports book. What shouldn’t be overlooked though is that Henry and Marquez really did not have a place in leading European leagues. Barcelona did not use Henry much last season and they released Marquez only a few days ago. The MLS simply doesn’t have as much skill as leagues such as the Premier or La Liga and participants who have major reputations but lowering skills can still be successful in what is a decreased level of soccer in the MLS.
