This may be a team that may surprise people and maybe even come close to reaching .500 in a very challenging NFC North division, although Cleveland is certainly not going to set any team win records this season.
New QB Jake Delhomme is hardly a savior but he could just be a step up from what the team has had behind center in past times. If the offense can find a better way to use the talented Josh Cribbs on offense there’s a small cause for hope, since the running game shows excellent promise.
Look for the Cleveland Browns to pull a sports betting upset by starting off the season with a 1-0 record.
