The Panthers will kick off on Thursday evening from Washington, DC as they are going to meet the victor of Tuesday’s matchup between North Carolina Asheville and Arkansas Little Rock.
Pitt had an overall record of 27-5 straight up and 14-13 versus the spread.
Other notable squads include North Carolina, who garnered a number 2 seed in the East regional and will kick off with Long Island on Friday from Charlotte also.
San Diego State got a #2 seed in the West regional and will open March Madness wagering competition versus Northern Colorado on Thursday from Tucson.
Notre Dame got a #2 seed in the Southwest regional and will open competition on Thursday from Chicago versus Akron.
