The poorest of the 4 regions in March Madness gambling appears to be the Southeast. Pittsburgh is the #1 seed in this region and they look to have the easiest path to the Final Four of the top seeds. Let’s look at the bouts in March Madness odds for the Southeast region and the competitors.

The Badgers can play defense but they can not score. They play intelligent but if they run into a team that can score they’re in trouble and that happens in the first round versus Belmont.

1st Round
(1) Pittsburgh versus (16) NC Asheville or Arkansas-Little Rock – This should be an easy first round win for Pittsburgh.

(8) Butler versus (9) Old Dominion – Last season’s runner-up Butler has a very hard competition versus Old Dominion who is the top rebounding team in the country.

(5) Kansas State versus (12) Utah State – The Aggies are underrated and can certainly win this match versus the March Madness odds, specifically if they contain Kansas State’s Jacob Pullen.

(4) Wisconsin versus (13) Belmont – The Badgers play fantastic defense and they’ll be tested by a Belmont team that had the top scoring margin of any team in the country.

(6) St. John’s versus (11) Gonzaga – This is an amazing first round match in March Madness gambling and these two squads are effective at winning more than only one competition.

(3) BYU versus (14) Wofford – The Cougars can score but they do not play much defense and they have no inside competition devoid of Davies.

(7) UCLA versus (10) Michigan State – The Spartans have the expertise while UCLA has the skill.

(2) Florida versus (15) Cal-Santa Barbara – The Gators are overhyped as a number 2 seed and they might have some problems versus the Gauchos.
