The one time red hot but now crippled Chicago Bears are struggling with the Denver broncos who are currently on a 5-game win streak this week. The Chicago Bears were competing well with a 7-3 overall record until starting quarterback, Jay Cutler smashed his thumb. This has brought on the Chicago Bears to lose their last 2 games since Cutler has been out. Cutler has been replaced by Chad Henne who has not been able to find a rhythm in the tricky offense implemented by Mike Martz.

On the other side of the equation are the Denver broncos who continue to do what ever they must do to get a win. While not usually pretty on offense, Tim Tebow carries on to defy explanation and carries on to make plays to win the games. Their powerful defense is the power of the Denver squad. This will make it so the offense will get away with not piling on a whole bunch of points and still secure the game.

This impending game without a doubt does not appear to be a shootout. In their loss to the Kansas city chiefs 10-3, the Chicago Bears only points came from a Robbie Gould field goal on Sunday. Combine that with the Broncos offense and this looks to be a minimal scoring game. The Broncos will look to perpetuate their winning streak versus the injury ridden Chicago Bears. Starting running back Matt Forte was also wounded on Sunday and will be out of the game for the rest of the season. He has been a power in the revitalized Bears’ offense this season.

With all the accidents this’ll be hard for the Chicago Bears to get over this game and for the remainder of the season. Nevertheless, watch for the Bears’ defense to do all of it in its ability to stop Tim Tebow and his ability to make plays out of nowhere.

The Chicago Bears will be doing all of it in their power to win as they are still in competition for a wildcard play-off spot. Nevertheless, there motivation lies in the hands of Jay Cutler and whether he would even be healthyto return to come back in time for a play-off game.
